Hey, my name is Daryl Rosser and I’m the founder of Lion Zeal.
Like many others, I got started in this business after accidentally stumbling into the opportunity and recognising the massive potential available.
It all started with a small client paying me only $50 per month.
Imagine this for a second…
In 2009, at the age of 17 years old, I was living, what I thought was “the good life”.
I stayed in the Panorama Suite in Planet Hollywood, Vegas.
Flew BA’s first class, London to Orlando. Flew business class more times than I can count on one hand.
Visited Queenstown (NZ), Sydney, Orlando, New York, Vegas (4x), Amman (Jordan), Cairo (Egypt), Bali, South Spain, and other places.
While paying off several months of my parents mortgage to help them through the recession.
And yet… this happened. I got down to my last £171.21. Around $200 USD.
All after one big argument with my business partner, and obviously, reckless spending leading up to that.
Now at this point, I was royally screwed. See, my business partner was the voice. He did the talking, I made things happen on the computer.
Except now, he stole all my money, stole my sites, and I was stuck back in “Corby”, my hometown, which is apparently the most unhappy place to live in the UK.
And after literally, a year and a half of repeated struggle and failure to make money, I ended up selling web design to a couple local businesses. Aka family friends.
Which I thought, mistakenly, would solve all my problems. Until I realised, you’ve got to work your a– off, for a measly $450.

It wasn’t a meeting at this little table here, that things finally turned around. This was my “oh shit” moment, when I realised businesses actually had decent money to invest, not just a measly $50 a month.
See, this is where I met Tim for the first time. A home care company owner that said he wanted SEO. Now truth be told, I didn’t know a thing about SEO, but all I remember from that meeting is one thing…
Tim said something along the lines of, “we currently have over 30 carers working for us”. Now I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I know you’ve got to be making some decent money to employ 30 people.
Plus I was broke… So naturally, I said yes.
And here’s the really crazy thing…
Despite looking like a high school kid while being cripplingly shy, I somehow got the deal.
Even more funny, I genuinely knew nothing about SEO. I literally bought a course on how to do it the following day.
Even crazier again, it worked. Tim was ranked number one in Google within a matter of weeks.
And then I knew I’d found “my thing”.
What I didn’t know was that I’d nearly go broke trying to get client number two. Which took all of 8 months to happen.
Eventually, I figured it out.
I started emailing other home care companies, telling them about the results I got for Tim. And within a matter of months, I picked up several new clients. Which I kept repeating over and over.
Fast forward a little more, and not only did comfortably clear 6 figures profit in 2014, I also felt safe enough to follow what I’d been day-dreaming about for 3 years…
Buying a ticket and moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand. The digital nomad capital of the world, where I ended up living for nearly a year.
And then things grew even faster.
I started travelling a lot… a trip once or twice a month. Visiting a small island in Vietnam, relaxing in Spain, shopping in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, swimming in the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, visited Osaka and Kyoto in Japan, explored Seoul…
Flew my team out to Bali for a week long retreat.
Got invited to speak on stage in front of hundreds of people, multiple times now.
And naturally, people started noticing and asking how I was doing this.
After rejecting the idea for a long time, I eventually put together a super simple blog to share a few of my strategies. This was back in 2014. I called it “Lion Zeal”.
Back then there were no opt ins, affiliate links, or any kind of monetisation. But again, people started asking for more.
This eventually led to creating digital marketing courses, which I’ve continued to develop and improve over the past few years. Now shifting into one single course, the Lion Zeal Consulting Program.
